We Love Veterans
We are so proud to assist the veterans who protect our freedom by providing care from the comfort of their home and helping them to live fully.
Working with the VA
The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) is responsible for providing vital services to America’s veterans such as health care services, benefit programs, and more. At Ameracare, we have experience working alongside the VA.
We give back
We support the VA in one of their biggest events for homeless veterans, Operation Stand Down. Operation Stand Down is a non-profit organization that helps to provide social services to former military personnel. The organization helps our veterans transition into civilian life with a wide range of services such as employment assistance, VA benefits assistance, housing, networking and more.
AmeraCare employees honor our Veterans through service. Here are several team members getting ready for Homeless Vets VA STAND DOWN event.
Some of our home healthcare practitioners and staff members volunteer at the VA. As volunteers they socialize with veterans and serve coffee to residents of the VA’s Community Living Center.
Meet two of our very own, Norman Davis and Allison Thornhill. Both Allison and Norman have served our country and currently work at Ameracare Home Health & Hospice as nurse practitioners. We thank both for their service and for what they continue to do to help the community as nurse practitioners.
